Is there a swimming pool open to the public in Karaikal?
Yes. Our 2,000 sq ft infinity pool is open to visitors with a day pass, with separate changing rooms and showers for men and women.
Can I book the swimming pool privately for my family?
Yes. The whole pool is reserved for your family for one hour, 6 to 7 pm or 7 to 8 pm, Monday to Thursday (not on public holidays). Book at least a day before, with full payment in advance.
Is there a monthly swimming pool membership in Karaikal?
Yes. We offer a monthly membership for regular swimmers from Karaikal and nearby towns, valid during general pool hours, 6 am to 6 pm.
Do you have family pool memberships?
No, we offer the monthly membership only. For family swims, book a private family slot.
What is the difference between pool entry and a day pass?
Pool entry covers the swimming pool only, during general hours from 6 am to 6 pm. A day pass includes the pool plus the resort's activities, such as badminton, soft archery, cricket and the garden. Food at Crave is extra.
What does the day pass include?
The infinity pool and kids' pool, changing rooms and showers, and the resort's activities and garden. Lunch and snacks at Crave can be added.
What are the swimming pool timings?
General swimming is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Private family slots run from 6 to 7 pm and 7 to 8 pm, Monday to Thursday.
How deep is the swimming pool?
The main infinity pool is 3.5 to 5.5 ft deep. The separate kids' pool is 2.5 ft deep.
Is there a separate pool for kids?
Yes. Children have their own separate, shallow pool next to the main infinity pool.
Are there changing rooms and showers at the pool?
Yes. There are separate shower and changing rooms for men and women at the pool.
Do any rooms have a private or pool-access pool?
No. None of our rooms has an attached or private pool. All guests share the main infinity pool and the separate kids' pool in the garden.
Is there a lifeguard at the pool?
No, there is no lifeguard on duty. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, in both pools.
Can children swim at RK Resorts?
Yes, in the separate kids' pool or the main pool, always with a parent or guardian, as there is no lifeguard on duty. Private family bookings are popular with parents teaching children to swim.
Do I need swimwear?
Yes, proper swimwear is required. It is available to buy at the counter.
Can I have a pool party in Karaikal at RK Resorts?
Yes. Splash, our poolside space, hosts pool parties and birthdays with food from Crave.
Should I book the pool ahead?
