Last updated: 23 September 2026. This policy explains what information RK Resorts, No. 7 Mudhaliyar Street, Sellore, Thirunallar, Karaikal 609607, collects through this website and at the resort, and how we use it.
What we collect
When you enquire or book, we collect your name, phone number, email address and the details of your stay or event, such as dates, number of guests and requests. At check-in we collect a government photo ID for every adult guest, as required by law.
Our enquiry and contact forms do not store your details on this website. They open WhatsApp or your email app with your message filled in, and you choose whether to send it.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, confirm and manage your booking or event, send you the messages you need for your stay, keep the records required by law, and improve our service. We do not sell your information.
Bookings and payments
Online room bookings are handled by our booking engine partner, Stayflexi. Payment details you enter there are processed by Stayflexi and its payment providers under their own privacy policies. We do not see or store your card details.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are viewed and when someone taps Book, WhatsApp or Call. This uses cookies and collects your device, browser and approximate location, but not your name or phone number. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site also remembers small preferences, such as whether you have seen the opening animation, on your own device.
Other services on this website
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address for security. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The weather shown on the site is fetched from Open-Meteo for the resort's location, not yours. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tripadvisor take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers who help us run the resort and this website, and with authorities when the law requires it. They may use it only for those purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, guest register and billing records for as long as Indian law requires, including tax records. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased where we are not required to keep it, and you can withdraw your consent for marketing messages at any time.
